Renting snorkelling: what to know

A good mask makes or breaks a reef day — try the fit before you leave the jetty.

Pick the right fin size; open-heel fins suit most adult feet across 36–46.
Anti-fog gel is usually included — rinse the mask in fresh water before first use.
Sets are sanitised between renters, but bring your own snorkel mouthpiece if you prefer.
Most owners deliver to your guesthouse on Maafushi, Gulhi and the local islands.
